We are seeking a professional, collaborative Coordinator to provide efficient national support for the People & Culture team to help deliver excellent people practices for Chapman Tripp. This is a key support role in a busy and dynamic corporate environment.  You will join a friendly and supportive National P&C team who strive to provide exceptional support and value to our internal clients.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide first level P&C advice and support for national process and policy queries
  • Provide coordination support for P&C projects
  • Assist and support the delivery of key annual P&C processes e.g. graduate recruitment, on boarding, engagement survey, well-being, parental leave, performance and salary reviews, leave and departures
  • In collaboration with the Talent & Capability Manager, coordinate Learning and Development activities including training, manage the L&D calendar, and administer any mandatory compliance training via the LMS
  • In collaboration with the People & Culture Manager, support our national Health, Safety & Wellness programme.
  • Support communication and systems around the performance review process
  • Manage the internal recognition and reward process
  • Support the P&C team with any other administration/ coordination requirements as required

Essential skills and experience

  • University qualification in human resources, psychology, or similar
  • 2+years previous HR experience
  • A basic understanding of employment and H&S legislation
  • Strong client service ethic
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook and the ability to quickly learn other systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to build relationships with a diverse range of people
  • Able to work autonomously and manage own workload
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and use initiative
