Chapman Tripp is New Zealand’s pre-eminent legal firm, with expert lawyers who work on projects that are helping define New Zealand's future, and as part of our team, you'll be in the thick of the action. If you are talented and looking to make a difference, Chapman Tripp has the resources, reputation and mind-set to propel you to the top.
About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Solicitor to join our tight-knit Auckland Equity Capital Markets team. Ideally, you will have had exposure to capital markets work already, and evidence a keen interest in progressing in the field.
As a member of our ECM team you will be working with leaders in their field. You will work under the supervision of partner Rachel Dunne who is one of two exclusively recognised Lawyers for ‘Capital Markets: Equity in New Zealand’ in IFLR’s Asia Future Leaders 2021 and recognised as a Young Influencer on the Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers 2021 list. You won’t get a better opportunity than this to learn from the best and grow in this field.
We value autonomy and offer plenty of scope for you to make the role your own, while also building your market presence and long-term client relationships.
Particular exposure to capital market transactions is desirable, with corporate law experience necessary. You’ll have a strong academic record, a passion for capital markets and the motivation to succeed in a busy, dynamic and focused team.
If you’re ready to grow in your next role, Chapman Tripp is focused on professional development, high-profile work, and an engaging and supportive environment to ensure you thrive.
